Annual Blimp Issue!!!

 Its been observed by some non-beleivers that the Popular Science/Mechanics magazines tend to be a bit over-optimistic about humanity's love-affair with the blimp.  To that end, they seem to run approximately one article per year about the impending blimp renaissance where there will be a chicken in every pot and a blimp in every (oversized) garage.  It's with great excitement that I highlight here the latest in the airship saga from October's issue. This time, you can Build Your Own Blimp!!  No more waiting around for The Man to come up with a suitable comsumer-grade Zeppelin.  Now you can just put on the ol' flannel shirt and make one yourself.  While you're anxiously awaiting the arrival of your blimp plans, you can also take a trip down blimp-memory-lane and read all about The Flying Luxury Hotel and the Homeland security blimp.  I know those articles will keep me busy...at least till my new personal jetpack arrives.
